All of the Kornegay Family Lines begin here; one man and his wife and children journeying to the New World to make a new and better life for themselves.  Their particular history ended tragically in an Indian Uprising in 1711 and the family was all but snuffed out with the exception of one young boy who survived and became the founder of a vast and far-flung family.  From the original land grant in Duplin County, North Carolina the Kornegay Family has spread to Florida, Alabama, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, New Mexico, and places beyond.

It is beyond the scope (and capabilities) of this web page to show all of the lines and generations of the Kornegay Family, so I've chosen to show them one family at a time.  Travel down the generations to find your family members.  If biographical data is available, the person's name as a child of a family will appear as a link.  In the case of men or women who've married into the Kornegay familes, if biographical data is available their names will appear as links in their spouses' families.
